Music, Marketing, and More
I am not left-brained or right-brained; I love arts and science equally as much.
At a young age, I set my sights on pursuing both music and marketing careers. After graduating from a fine arts high school with a focus on music, I achieved my ARCT Piano Performance diploma with honours from the prestigious Royal Conservatory of Music at just seventeen. For my post-secondary education, I honed my "science" side, earning a Bachelor of Commerce with distinction from the University of Toronto.
Finding the balance to juggle these professions simultaneously has been rewarding; since 2013, I've thrived in the digital marketing world, working with industry giants such as McDonald’s Canada, Estee Lauder Companies, and Pearson North America. More details about my experience can be found here. These experiences have honed my professional commerce capacity while allowing me to seek a creative outlet for my energy.
I firmly believe that creative and analytical skills are not only fundamental to personal development, but are also the essential building blocks of being true to myself.
Since 2014, I've been imparting my musical knowledge and passion by teaching piano and music theory at various music schools across the GTA and in my private studio. Details about my teaching methodology and experience can be found here.
In addition to working full-time in marketing, and teaching piano during my off-time, I have also decided to challenge myself further creatively and obtained my Makeup I certificate from George Brown College. Some of my work can be found here. After completing a more artistic learning journey with makeup, I continued my commitment to creativity, and most recently obtained a UX design certification from Learn with Google and Brainstation, further challenging myself creatively and analytically.
